It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Electrical Power and Machines Engineering Program, one of the core programs of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The program seeks to provide distinguished engineering education that integrates scientific foundations with modern practical applications in electrical power systems, electrical machines, power electronics, control, and renewable energy. We are committed to preparing engineers who possess strong analytical, design, and innovation capabilities, together with the professional and ethical skills required to compete effectively in the labor market and serve society.  The Electrical Power and Machines Engineering Program is committed to preparing scientifically and professionally qualified engineers capable of designing, analyzing, operating, and maintaining electrical power and machine systems, and employing modern technologies in energy, control, and power electronics. The program aims to meet labor market needs, support scientific research and sustainable development, and promote professional and ethical responsibility.

 

 

  • Provide graduates with the knowledge and skills required to analyze and design electrical power generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization systems.
  • Develop the ability to design, operate, test, and maintain electrical machines, drives, transformers, and electromechanical systems.
  • Employ power electronics, control, and renewable energy technologies to improve the efficiency and performance of electrical systems.
  • Develop experimentation, simulation, data analysis, and engineering problem-solving skills using modern tools.
